Mission Statement
NEW YORK WOMEN'S AGENDA (NYWA) is a powerful coalition of diverse women’s organizations which was founded in 1992 by the late NYC icon Elinor Guggenheimer. NYWA’s purpose is to bring together women’s organizations under one umbrella, to speak in one voice, to raise awareness in political, economic and cultural circles, and to improve the lives of women and their families. Historic Changes to the New York Nonprofit Law

NYWA members are invited to a breakfast seminar to learn about the Nonprofit Revitalization Act of 2013 that will go into effect on July 1, 2014. 
Presented by Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP and Schall & Ashenfarb LLC, the event will feature gues speaker James F. Brennan, New York Assemblymember and the principal sponsor of the Nonprofit Revitalization A.ct. Cynthia Fischer of Scnader and David Ashenfarb of Schall & Ashenfarb will also speak.
