NEW YORK WOMEN'S AGENDA (NYWA) is a non-profit, non-partisan, tax-exempt coalition of 100,000 women represented by 100 diverse organizations tied together by one common goal: For women to have a voice in programs and policies that affect their lives and to make New York a better place for women and children. NYWA's members represent the diversity of the city and include community groups; religious, ethnic, and political groups. Through NYWA these groups unite to work on issues of common interest and to advocate for public policy. Together, the voices of NYWA members work in concert to become one rousing chorus, impossible to ignore.

We celebrate the extraordinary power of connections and relationships made through the vehicles that NYWA’s founder, Elinor Guggenheimer, created and left as a legacy to the world.
