Cash donations will be gratefully accepted to go toward the purchase of Metro cards, Amex, Visa or Master Card gift Cash donations will be gratefully accepted to go toward the purchase of Metro ccards and gift items for the women.
The Committee also seeks donations of unused items for the gift bags: Shampoo, shower caps, soap and other toiletries, cosmetics, children's clothing - especially coats, windbreakers, sweaters, jeans, socks; children's books (especially on bullying and self-esteem), and toys.
Also, go to your local dry cleaners and asked for clothing that hasn't been picked up in over a year.
If anyone has connections with businesses or organizations for donations of these or other appropriate items, please let us know. Pick-up of bulk donations can be arranged. We will also need volunteers the day of the event, December 13th, to help serve food, hand out gift bags and join in the spirit of the fun.
